CPU cooler and RAM blocking each other
Hi

I'm currently stuck with one (non-random) mission, I'm tasked with upgrading the RAM and the CPU. Problem is that I can't reach the CPU because the cooling system requires to remove the RAM beforehand, but if I try to remove the RAM, it'll then ask to remove the CPU cooling sys beforehand. So here I'm stuck in that ourobouros. Any tips to get out of that situation?

You're not going to like my answer.. because there is no solution for you, sadly. This is one of the many parts collision errors where the game generates a customer job by combining two parts that aren't compatible with each other physically. There is no way to remove either the cooler or the ram in your system. You have submitted it here as a bug report and hopefully your screenshots with the part names should be enough for the developers to patch this and fix it in the future. But the way this game works even if they patch it that will not solve it for you because your career playthrough already generated this system with these parts together. Even if they do patch it you will still have to abandon this job. Their patches will fix it so this won't happen in the future though. If you haven't already then I would suggest you get in the habit of creating a new manual save before accepting each job. If you have a manual save from before you accepted this job I would suggest you go back, load it, and decline this job and not accept it.

Ah damn it, I do manual saves, but I think I might have saved over it because of another job I was doing in the meantime.

Edit: the part where it grinds my gears is that this is the following of scripted missions, where a computer you built yourself get sent back by the customer asking for an upgrade, so somehow I put both this ram and cooling system in this computer in a way that worked (probably the ram bar was on another slot), and the game "rearranged" it in a way that got both stuck.
