Tutorial Broken

The tutorial is blatently breaking infront of me. I I pull a part out of the inventory, game tells me where to put it, but the area wont highlight green and wont let me place it. How do I fix this?

Can't install any part

Just bought and booted the game, went to "How to build a PC" which I believe is tutorial.
First two times, installed the power and screws, but can't install the mother board, restarted game;
Following 3 times, can't even install the power unit - I selected the power from the inventory, unscrewed the bracket, it shows the orange frame to install the unit, but nothing happens no matter where I click on it.
I want to find out if this is a current bug or if there's something I'm doing wrong on my end. Thanks.

Just went through the tutorial and was able to finish it. I suggest you verify the integrity of your game cache by right clicking on the game in your library, select properties and then select local files. Once there, select verify integrity of game files.

having this same issue. I can get to different spots at different times but not reliable at all

Specifically getting stuck at the graphics card installation each time. I've validated and nothing changes.

We the players do not "Fix this". I have seen a few other people reporting this. All we can do is report it to the developers and hope they fix it in a patch.

How to build a PC gets stuck

when I play this part of the game, when i select a part to install i.e. CPU it would return to the case of the pc and not let me install the CPU therefor having to restart the entire thing again.

did you open the CPU locking piece? If you did this is a rather odd bug. I just did the how to build a PC just fine 2 days ago.

It then asked me to install CPU and I clicked it and pressed install and then it took me back to the main view and didn't let me do anything lol

Same happened on another task on how to build a pc at the beginning

Tutorial so bugged

I was trying to play tutorial with my friend, but we experienced so may issues with this game - we couldn't install any element, until we restarted the game. For example, we wanted to install power supply, but we couldn't. We hovered over it while it had orange borders, but there was no posibbility of installing it. We had to restart the game, and this time it worked, we were able to install power supply. The same situation happened with motherboard, processor, GPU... I also am having trouble with the tutorial. I played it fine years ago when I first got the game, but now I'm level 13 going on 14 and wanted to do it again for the achievement where you complete the tutorial on a time limit. I can remove the case sides and PSU mounting bracket, but after I get the PSU out of inventory I cannot install it. The next part doesn't make sense either, as it says to connect cables but there are no other parts installed at this point to connect. The case connects to the mobo which isn't installed yet, and connecting the power cable doesn't make sense because it blocks reinstalling the PSU bracket which is require to have a complete case for the final build. Devs, I know you are looking to have a fix regarding new case fans in new cases showing as used(or even disappearing from cases if the case is left in the hallway during a save/load cycle) but can you please fix the tutorial also? I know there are people who bought this game in the Steam summer sale which recently ended and not being able to get two achievements because the tutorial is broken may irk some folks.

Click and Hold will not work

Hello, I have not been able to play the game past the tutorial because at some point during the tutorial, a click and hold interaction with a component will not respond. First it happened with the PSU, then, after restarting the game, again with the Motherboard, then with the CPU cover, then with the graphics card. I have waited to see if a simple patch would resolve this but, alas, it has not. Any help?

This issue should be fixed as of v1.12.1, let me know if it persists.
