Can't connect radiator
When I install a radiator in the H500P I can't connect it. As you can see, the fans and pump are not connected. The problem seems to be the motherboard (MSI Z390 Gaming Edge)

Connecting radiators and pumps has always been finnicky in the game and it's honestly even worse now. Don't hold your breath. The devs don't care.

It doesn't matter. They're not "Fixing it" because the radiators still give an increase in cooling even if their fans aren't spinning. The fans are just an aesthetic and not required for the radiators to work in PCBS. The radiators already work fine as-is right now.

"The fans are just an aesthetic" So turn of the fans in your computer and see how long it runs.

Please re-read what I wrote. I know fans are essential in real life. I specifically said the fans are just an aesthetic -IN GAME-, as in in PCBS the game.

It's not just a game, it's a simulation. It's right in the title. So you can expect it to be reasonably close to reality. Also, it doesn't allow me to complete the job, so it definitely does matter.

Are you allowed to remove the 2 front case fans (the 200mm ones) ? If yes, then it's perfectly doable.

As in my pic I have a back and a top radiator, but no front case fans. And it's working.

If not, then you are screwed indeed. And then it's a bug if it's a RNG job, but if the build is originally yours (aka a story job), it's getting realy finnicky for devs to be able to fix all possible combinations, between cases, fans, watercooling etc..

It seems like the motherboard is bugged, with the MSI Z390 Gaming Edge and Ace I can't connect the rad. Doesn't matter if the fans are connected or not.

While it is a simulator, you have to realize it is not going to be 1:1 exactly to real life. There are quite a lot of things in-game that are very far off from reality, and tons of bugs in-game that will cause things to appear "Weird". This is one of them. Does the customer's job turn green on all the requirements and let you turn it in? Do you get 5-star rating from doing the job? Does the loop fill with coolant and let you run 3dmark without crashing? If the answer to all of this is yes then just ignore it and turn it in and move on with the game.

Inded, I missed the Mobo you used (and it was right there in your first post)
an "older" (in game implemented) ASUS TUF Z-370 Pro was working, while the mobo you use don't let me connect fans the same way. And indeed I face same issue as you.

I added the mobo afterwards in the OP :)
But thanks for confirming the bug.
