As in my pic I have a back and a top radiator, but no front case fans. And it's working.
If not, then you are screwed indeed. And then it's a bug if it's a RNG job, but if the build is originally yours (aka a story job), it's getting realy finnicky for devs to be able to fix all possible combinations, between cases, fans, watercooling etc..
an "older" (in game implemented) ASUS TUF Z-370 Pro was working, while the mobo you use don't let me connect fans the same way. And indeed I face same issue as you.
