[Gameplay] Case Silverstone LD03 displays missing cables
Hello,

I got a job for a custom build pc and everythings fine until i want to deliver it.
When standing in the box on the ground it says "Missing cables", but every cable is in place.
The message disappears when you plug in your monitor cable and psu cable.

Guess thats the bug that it requires a connection.

So all in all you cant complete jobs with this case.

même problème, j'ai remarqué que c'est juste le fait de débranché l'alimentation secteur que le bug apparaît et reste lorsque c'est mis pour la livraison.

I have the exact same problem , and I think its a shame because I love how this case looks.
Thanks for the report Shial!

Same issue here it's all ok until you unplug the power to ship it. I have used both Silverstone and FSP SFX power supplies and you get the same results. Also if the PC sim powers see this, The Lian Li dynamic has issuse with the EKWB 360 radiator. It wont let you mount it to the rear of the case (As it is intended) and it would be awsone if you would let us replace fans on rads!

Yes that looks definitely a bug.
With my autocable tools on, the power cable from wall plug to PSU is colored, and you can even cable mod that. It seems that this cable is the smoking gun. Currently no way to complete any jobs with this case AFAIK.

I got the same issue on this case, please fix the bug.
This was one of the listed fixes in today's update. See here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/621060/discussions/0/1751273165171068104/

If anyone in this game is still having this issue I would suggest you make sure your game is up to date and get the latest update. However do bear in mind that updates and fixes can not fix currently existing jobs. If you already have a job involving the Silverstone LD03 in-game that has this problem the fix will not fix your current job. The fix applies to new jobs. You will have to abandon/drop the current job you've been saving and then the update will fix any future jobs involving the Silverstone LD03.

Is this hot fix only for jobs? Running at newest update (1.6.5.2). New builds from scratch with this case still have identical issue and cannot be shipped.

I have not tested myself, but the actual notes from the patch thread read "A job with the Silverstone LD03 could not be completed and kept reporting "Missing Cable"." so perhaps it is just for the one job with the issue and not the entire chassis / case?

Just made a PC in this case and got the same bug. Won't let me finish the job. I think it's because the power cable can be customized and it snakes into the case unlike the Thetis, which is a passthough. https://i.imgur.com/bHfPDTg.png

I want to know why this bug has existed for over a month without a working hotfix. This completely cuts off one of the few ITX cases from the game.

From my experience in software development, some silly and simple bugs may deeply rooted in from the beginning of the program design. Though not sure if there is exactly such a case here, but very likely be at least some contributing factor. If so, fixing it needs major surgery.

Seems like a pretty easy fix to me. Either make the power connector that plugs into the PSU into an extension cable or make it a regular plug-in-the-back power cable like other cases. There's no reason it needed to be coded to be a customizable cable, that's clearly the problem.

I'm having the same problem. I had the update mentioned above before the mission was even generated, so this bug still remains.
