Cannot remove cpu cooler - Raijintek Themis Cooler [Gameplay]

Request to upgrade CPU. However, I cannot seem to get this cooler off. It shows there is a cpu fan wire that needs to come off first but no matter how I come at it I cannot remove it. Any suggestions?

If you change your angle does the cable turn green while in remove mode?

No it's always red. I tried all different angles including coming at it from the top by removing the top screen cover.

ive got the same problem with the Raijintek Themis Cooler, the cable seems to pass through the side mounted fan so cant be selected to remove.

Yes, that is the cooler giving me the issue.

I had the same issue and I just left the game without saving to get back to the beginning of the day when I had not installed the cooler yet. But that will just work if you installed the cooler later that day and I can't promise that this will "delete" just this one active day from your save.

I tried doing this, no luck. Exited game and came back in. Tired removing everything else just to see if it helped. Tried advanced to the next work day. Still won't let me remove that cable to change the cooler.

Its seems to be something to do with the Thermos Evo cooler attached to a Gigabyte GA-AX370 Gaming 5 Motherboard, ive so far found 3 of that combination that prevent cable removal on the cooler

I GOT IT WORKING. But it doesn't seem consistent. So I just started right clicking on the cable and the cooler and sure enough the cable went green for me and I was able to remove it!

I see the problem. Look at the difference with the cable. The first one it is like bugged going through the fan. The 2nd one it is not and clear of the fan. This finally happened after about restarting the game 3 times or so. It just ended up like that.

Look below the cooler. its inverted. the stick holding the cooler and the motherboard maybe located below the cooler.
