[Technical] Stutter when walking
There is a little bit of stutter when I walk around. When I just look around, turn a pc around or use wasd when installing components the game runs completely fluid.

Movement speed also feels slow for my taste.

Make sure you have your Vsync off...

Actually no don't turn vsync off that's a terrible suggestion. Specifically with this game vsync off will result in excessively high GPU usage and make video cards run super hot (90c).

Vsync should be on at all times in PCBS for the best gaming experience with this game.

Bull***t... Turning off Vsync won't "cook up" his GPU to 90 degrees... im playing for hours with vsync off on 4k settings with highest possible graphic settings and getting stable 60 degrees on gpu and fps of 112

Then you either 1.) Have an aftermarket video card with very good cooler or 2.) You don't understand what vsync does. Vsync limits the game to only what frames your monitor is capable of displaying. With vsync off it literally causes your video card to run at 100% constantly in all games because the video card will have no limit and it will try to render frames above what your monitor can display, which results in high heat for all video cards. I can demonstrate this in PCBS game with my secondary computer's GTX 1060. 60% - 75% usage with vsync on, 99% constantly with vsync off @ 1080p.

If anyone is going to play without vsync then they must at least input some sort of frame limiter via the control panel in it's place to avoid super hot video cards.

I turned it off and the problem went away immediately. So I second trying this first.

Don't forget: You should still be using a frame limiter in the control panel for your video card if you have vsync disabled. It's a bad idea to play with vsync off without limiting the frame rate in any game.

This thread was quite old before the recent posts, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
