NZXT cases have been indeed prone to many issues along the way, and yet...
I went in freebuild, built a full PC with 7 case fans, and sorry to say, impossible to reproduce.

When you have a bug (or think you have a bug), maybe add pics, descriptions, and a save including that bug, so devs could look at it.
Just reviving 2 old threads by "confirm" is not much of a help to try to reproduce (as I was unable to reproduce)
I'm not saying you are not facing a bug, but in many cases, it ended up a person trying either an impossible combo of a watercooled GPU and an active air or AIO CPU cooling, or as well as what Aquafawks suggested, a missing panel that needs to be placed in order to install the last I/O cable.
I even had instances where I had an orangy SSD, and due to angle I completely missed a highlight from it (orange on orange). Spent quite some time to figure it out.
Those words from an older player playing PCBS since a very long time.
You bump a 8 month old thread, stating it "an issue" and yet providing no backing up with evidences (screens, shared saves) etc.
That only leads to :
- thread beeing ignored by devs as they have no way of fixing something if they can't reproduce, which again I was UNABLE to reproduce, as I have no missing cables, as you see in my screen.
Then there are ways to daisy chain case fans, and sometimes the auto connect tool does a worse job than connecting them manually. Some cases does not allows some spots to daisy chain case fans, etc.
So maybe again, add pics to help pinpoint and solve issues.
So do you want me to make a new thread instead, about something that has been posted about 20+ times?
There are 2 case fans that are not spinning on that PC. They have missing cables.
- Connect case fan 1, to the motherboard, at the spot below the CPU Cooler and above the 1st PCIe slot, near the left.
- Connect case fan 2, to case fan 1.
- Do a virus scan, and get 5 stars.
No bug here.
And yes, next time, PLEASE don't necro an ancient thread.
Happy holidays!
Are you able to connect it? I do think the issue might be with that motherboard (GA-AB350-Gaming 3) and maybe in the combo with that case.
Had a similar issue with another case, and a gaming 5 mb. Changed the mb, and the auto-connect worked to the case fan constroller. Dont have a save for that
I do see that this is not the best thread for this.
Just a little heads up / suggestion for you: Nothing happens to you here in steam in the PC Building forums for replying to old threads. However there are other forums in steam (ARK: Survival Evolved being one of them) where moderators will actually ban you from that area of the steam forums for replying to threads older than 6 months. Making new threads instead is exactly what is normally expected with most internet forum websites, even if it is the same issue.
