Can't fit this PCI lock back in its own case

I'm trying to fit this PCI lock back into the case I took off from, but it won't fit because of the graphic card? What is this?

Graphic card is MSI GeForce GTX 980 Ti GAMING 6G LE, motherboard is MSI B450I GAMING PLUS AC, case is Deepcool EARLKASE RGB WH.

Now I can't even fit the PCI lock back with the customer's own graphic card.

This is a known bug. All you can do is quit the job or load a save game and reject the job. I have run into this many times as that was one of my favorite cases. Every now and then it will work right but the majority of the time it fails.

Well this is just stupid af, I did not expect something like this, my last save has already accepted this job and now my 5 stars gone 4 stars

Always always always make a manual save before every job. There's a lot of bugged jobs in this game still.

I do, but I used to save a backup AFTER I accept the job and BEFORE the purchase. I guess I will just have to save even before accepting the jobs now.

What is the point or thinking in that? After you've accepted a job you'll be docked stars if you don't or can't complete it... always make manual saves before accepting a new job so you can reject it if it isn't completable. I should of worded my post above better.

Most of the jobs are diagnose or 3D Mark requires. Because I used to calculate the budgets and complete the jobs I accepted with no problem until this one. Even if there is a problem, I will go back the save before the purchase and make changes in my hardware selections.

And I never thought that there will be this stupid bug that won't let you put the PCI lock back on with any graphic card installed.

I do 2 saves at the end of the day just before I read emails. One that can be written over and one that just in case I get a bugged job, or an impossible overclock. I think there is a solution for every job, just not the buggy ones. Once a week I do another save just in case I screw up my nightly saves.

I have 700 saves. After about 300, I prune the save game folder. :)
Deepcool EARLKASE RGB WH is bugged. There are other bugs, too.

If you get stuck with a 1-star or 4-star rating, ..... suck it up. 25 quick jobs later, and boom, back to rocking a 5-star chain.

Just be sure to report the bugs to the developer. Posting here is one way. There are others, too. Save-game-files are VERY important to help the devs see the problem, be sure to include one.
