Alt tab and minimizing
Hey, I am just wondering - when I press alt tab the game minimizes. Does anyone know how to avoid that?
So far I found only a workaround, making the game momentarily windowed, then alt tabbing, then go back and maximize again (alt enter -> alt tab -> alt tab back -> alt enter), I have not found a solution to not minimize when fullscreen is selected. I use dual monitors and I often use notes, watching something or doing something else and I do not really want the game minimized when I switch focus to another app.

Set this for launch parameters: -window-mode exclusive -popupwindow

Then disable fullscreen mode in the in-game settings.

Yes it is.. games capture input. This is how we switch out of the game and do something else on the other screen while games are running. Alt-tab is the normal way to switch apps on windows. Why are you even commenting here? I already gave them the solution and they can switch apps while the game is running and everything is fine.

It sounds like you only have 1 monitor. If you did have multiple screens you would understand why using alt-tab to switch apps is important as you would be using it all the time.

Don't you people have 2 graphic cards? Surely if you can afford second monitor you can afford second graphic card

Yes, it is. More so, that's the sole point of this thread.

So your solution to stop minimizing this game is to buy another graphic card? I will ... refrain from commenting.

Anyway, solution was found, no further comments neccessary, wish I could close this :-)

No. One video card and multiple screens. Just like everyone else in the world. Almost everyone has 2 or 3 screens. It's completely normal. Just like using alt-tab to switch to another app while playing games is normal too. Everyone does it. It seems like you're either A.) Just trolling for the lulz or B.) Trying to stir up drama / argument baiting, one of the two.

This thread was already answered and everyone was happy until you started making up all this FUD.
