Install AIO water cooling.
So I think this is bugged. The mission is install AIO water cooling. The customers CPU is an AMD ryzen 1900x threadripper. It wont let me install a different cpu and no AIO liquid coolers fit on this threadripper cpu. All incompatible. Ive tried installing a custom AIO water thingy on the cpu but when i install that, the mission is still red and it never goes green. Usually it will say install custom water cooling for the mission if they want that. Any solutions for this? Never come across this before.

What level are you? You're probably just not using the right cooler. There are AIO's in the game that support threadripper systems.
Really? Thats very odd cause I looked through the store and I found none that would fit the threadripper Im looking for liquid coolers in the shop. Lvl 22 its taking a lifetime

The Antec Mercury RGB series of coolers in the game (in 3 formats, 120mm, 240mm, and 360mm) all 3 support both sockets TR4 and sTRX4 for AMD ThreadRipper and they unlock at level 20.

I found this information here in this guide: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1798336403
Thanks I'll check it out! All I been doing it would do custom check in the shop with just liquid coolers checked that fit on a threadripper cpu only and nothing came up lol. I'll look into this more thanks for the help!

No problem. I hope it helps. :steamhappy:
Hey sorry for the late reply! The parts you have mentioned work for the Threadripper cpus thanks for the help. The link you provided is helpful thanks

Yay. I'm glad it helped someone. :steamhappy:
Uncheck 'fits this PC'. Most of the AIO's will fit any processor.

Not all AIO's in the game will support all sockets in the game. Some of them do not support some sockets for example.

To get them to show when installing, you often have to uncheck that. So there you go...you're not doing too well are you? LoL

Why would anyone want to see something that's not compatible with the computer they are trying to install it to? If it doesn't fit they couldn't use it anyway. As you just said in your words "While installing". If they are trying to install it on a computer then they want to see what is compatible with the machine they are trying to install it to. That's why that check box exists.

Reading comprehension is a lost art apparently. It will not show some compatible AIO's with it checked...

It will work and does work if the parts are unlocked in career mode. Alternatively you can see it yourself by going in to free build and selecting "Fits this computer" then show CPU cooling and see all of the AIO's that fit that machine in free build.

Leave "Fits this computer" checked. It won't filter out things that actually do fit. It will filter out all of the AIO's that don't fit. Does exactly what it says on the tin. The real issue here is that the AIO's don't already tell you which sockets they fit.

Actually, they do. At least the water CPU coolers in the specialised shop tell you on which sockets they fit.
