And if you think PCBS1 is ♥♥♥♥, why do you even want the second game? Aside from a handful of new mechanics, it's more of the same kinda stuff PCBS1 has.

Nope, can't hire employees.

Some of the changes are mainly quality of life changes, you get the tablet from PCBS1's IT expansion, when buying parts you can mark them for which jobs they're for so you don't forget and there's a button in the email you can click on to see what parts are installed on a customers PC so you can order replacement parts or order upgrade parts, etc.

You can paint towers, put stickers on them, you can put a custom water cooling attachment onto graphics cards that don't come with that kinda thing, adjust fan speeds, etc.

But at the end of the day, it's not that much different, read the email, figure out what you gotta do and if there are any bonus objectives, do it, send it, collect money, rinse, repeat.

That button on the email has always been there, the improvement in v2 is that is now no longer a modal popup window that stops you from viewing other screens at the same time, e.g. shop, etc.

Epic published the game so that sucks but if that's how it managed to be a thing so be it I guess.

There needs to be a correction here: Epic Games CREATED the game. The developers that created PCBS 2 are direct employees of Epic Games. They did not just publish it for some other company. Epic games created, programmed, published, and owns the second game. This is entirely 100% an Epic Games product. That is why they are only releasing it on Epic Games and that is why it most likely will never be on Steam. This is completely different from other games where a 3rd party company/studio creates a game and then has it exclusive on the Epic platform for 1 year then they can do whatever with it. With PCBS 2 Epic Games is the studio that created it. This is what people refer to as a "1st party" game where the game company and publisher are one and the same. Most likely this will never be on Steam as Epic Games so far to date has never released any of their other 1st party games on Steam either.
