RAM doesn't fit into motherboard when its the right type
The motherboard is an MSI godlike one, and the RAM type is a DDR4. The quest is to upgrade the RAM and it also has a deadline. The current RAM inside the PC is a Shean TITAN 2 GB 2133MHz. I bought the exact version but it's a 4 GB RAM, and it says its "incompatible"? How is it incompatible when I bought the exact same RAM but 2 more gigs above it? Please help
EDIT: The hidden objective is to install the CORSAIR Dominator Platinum 4 GB 2666MHz which i bought and it says not compatible

This game is attempting to force us to follow "Best practices" for replacing ram. This means that you must either add additional "Shean TITAN 2 GB 2133MHz" module to the computer or you must remove it and replace all of the ram with only the 4GB version. This game does not allow us to "mix and match" ram because we should not be doing that in real life (even if it is possible in real life). So technically yes it is incompatible: You can not mix the 4GB version with the 2GB version in this game.

As in real life you can probably check that the circuit board and the slot have the same notches. There's probably an overlooked detail on the market and its the wrong type. (Should have bought the one right next to it)

How do I check the circuit board and the slot?

Did you take out the old RAM already?!

Yes, IRL one would have to check the notches, but not in this game, since there is only DDR4 type RAM available...
And back to the OP: Just like IRL you can't combine different size RAM on the same board!
