What motherboard are you trying to install in what case? The case should tell you what form factor of motherboard it supports (ITX, ATX, Extended ATX, Etc). You're probably trying to put a motherboard too big in a small case that doesn't support it.

back again. i have the same problem and i checked it over and over.
i bought an MSI MPG SEKIRA 500P, which is a mid tower that can hold mini-ATX, micro-ATX, S-ATX and E-atx, i also bought a EVGA z270 Classified K motherboard which is an E-ATX.
and it doesnt fit.
what am i doing wrong?

Are you sure you selected the right parts? It does fit, and this is with the back side closed..

I tested it in the free build mode..

see when i try to mount the motherboard the game doesnt highlight the mountable space and i actually am stuck with that part selected untill i go to another pc and deselect it.
this is on PS4 btw, so it might be a glitch.
but strangely when i bought a different case (Antec P120 Crystal) it DOES fit.
im starting to think this is a mistake ingame

oh PS4, ok, well maybe it is a glitch, as you can see, it fits the case you stated. If you want to do a check on it, go to free build and see if it happens in there. It is the best I can suggest, but at lest your able to go forward instead of being stuck. which is a good thing.

Your welcome, I was wondering, Do you receive updates like the PC games on steam, or no, it doesn't work that way? I do not own a console system, so I always wondered about that.

Consoles do recieve the same game updates that we get on PC but sometimes they may take multiple months to appear on consoles. Generally (at least for Sony's Playstation and thus the PS4) it has to go through an approval process by Sony's people first before it is allowed to be distributed to end users / customers. Sometimes that takes a long time depending on how many other things the review group has in the queue at the time. I think Microsoft's XBOX group probably does the same thing but I'm not 100% sure if they do or not. With PC and Steam there's no such approval process to wait on and it appears to players on steam within minutes of the developers publishing it on their end.

lol, oh wow, that sucks! Oh man, now I see why them players are fussing a storm about Cyberpunk 2077 and the devs were talking that the console updates, your looking at the end of the tear!.. lol, that's insane, boy I am glad I'm on PC... That would drive me out of my mind!
