Can't remove the side panel - Leanne.Barlow PC
Hi all,

I got an issue where I can't remove the side panel on the PC. Normally when I can't remove a part, it shines orange and the parts that have to be removed first shine red. Naturally, I remove them in the right order and every part that is free to be removed shines red.

However, on the PC that I received from Leanne.Barlow I am unable to remove its side panel. One goes OK but the other one (which I need to get inside) shines orange with no other part/panel/lock to shine red. I don't seem to find anything to be removed first before the side panel. The other weird thing is that I seem to be able to remove some cables that are inside although I shouldn't be before removing the side panel and getting inside.

It seems to be the bug but maybe I am missing something. Has anyone encountered the same issue?
THANKS

I just came across the same exact problem (different customer). The side I need to open apparently I can't because of the CPU fan inside, which I can't remove because of the same side panel is still there. It's a chicken and egg situation, and the other side panel, top, and front being removed doesn't help. Case is a SilverStone RVX01 (Blue) and fan is Arctic Freezer A13 X CO. Guess this goes into the closet?

Is there a top panel that you need to remove first? some cases have a top that needs to be removed to get to the sides, or it could be what the last guy says I have seen the post he was talking about. Only the other guy had pics.

Found this in the sticky post of known issues:
A PC delivered for a job has two parts that cannot be removed in any way
The huge amounts of part combinations the game now has sometimes means a PC can be generated with parts that block each other, we have various built-in rules to stop this but sometimes new combinations pop up. If you get a PC that has two parts blocking each other that blocks completion of the job can you please send us a copy of the save game that contains the job so that we can stop this combination from happening again in the future.

Please note, when we find the cause and fix this combination the fix can’t apply to a PC already generated so abandoning the job is the best way to progress. Please do send us a save game before you do though so we can stop this from happening again.

Finding your saved games:
Log into your Steam account.
Right-click on a game from the Steam game library and choose Properties.
Go to the Local files tab.
Click Browse local files...
The game installation folder will open and you will see a folder called 'Saves'.
Please email a copy of the affected save game to support@theirregularcorp.com
This happened to me once. In fact, I shared the experience on the forums. Basically a case too small for an air cooler the size of a NH-D15 which the game decided to spawn with regardless. Couldn't remove the side panel because the game kept thinking that the air cooler had to be removed first.

Had to take the L. Guaranteed 1*. Nothing we can do about it. You got struck by thunder.

If possible please sticky this post
