i7-8700K runs hot?
Does the i7-8700K run inordinately hot or am I missing something? I had one in free build which I was able to stabilize, but then I broke it. The next one wouldn't stabilize at all.
I'm not ready to go too deeply into custom cooling systems.

The 8700K, yes 115W TDP, i found needs the Z73 chilled. It's normal with the Z73 C to be idling around 40C - 45C with OC.
Any of the silicon lottery ones i think definatately need water cooling or they will idle at 90C seemingly.
