That is not the point i was trying to make. Sorry. I should have been more clear.
None of the PSU's i tried, the expensive 750W / 850W ones from EVGA, Corsair would plug in 5 SATA drives.
The PSU descriptions in the game shop are very vague. We can't even filter by amount of sata connections.
The only information given is, Wattage, Length, Type, Size. This is no help. ?
In that case, I don't think there are any PSUs in game that support that many after searching on Google. So I think your out of luck, only option is to remove some drives, or add some NVME drives to make up for it.
BTW IDK if you are new to the game or not, but you don't need to go that overkill with the build, it won't give you a massive increase that's worth spending that much. I think in the game the only one that can support that many is a 1600w. I am going to go onto freebuild rn and check.
Edit: I just check and used a RM750 which had 5 so I was wrong with the part of it only being 1600w, but you should def be able to find one that will support 5
