Issue with a repair job not letting me put AIO cooler back in
Hey guys,

I currently have an odd issue that I think maybe a bug. I got a repair request from a customer with the e-mail address ExpensiveRicver@ExpensiveAstrolab.info

When I get the PC, it has 3 front intake fans in, an exhaust fan, and a NZXT Kracken AIO cooler. I take the cooler off to replace the CPU without issue.

However, when I try to re-install the AIO cooler, there are only 2 ways it can go back in. Either by removing the 3 front in take fans, or by removing the exhaust fan. When I do either or, the fans show up as his property in the 'Fits This Pc' list, and I can not complete the job without putting them AND the AIO cooler in.

If I try and put a spare fan cooler in, it tells me 'inferior cooler installed'.

Anyone else run into this issue?

1) Have you tried moving the 120mm fans from the front, to be at the top of the PC, so you can put the CPU Cooler at the front of the PC? Seemed to work fine for me in Free Build. If it doesn't work for you, you might need to specify your motherboard and RAM to tell us why.

What exact case? What exact CPU Cooler model? If you're on PC, can you share the .binary save file so we can try?

The game has some collision issues, and it's important to specify exact parts when describing a collision issue.
Yea, sorry, I meant to include those but forgot to save the edits in the post.

-Case: NZXT H700i - Deadstick. Has 3 front fans and an exhaust fan instealled. All of them are NZXT Aer P 120mm fans.

Cooler: NZXT Kraken x72

I am on PC, but I am not sure how to share the binary save file...?

it could be a collision glitch, although if it fit before, that may not cover this particular issue.
Ok, so I moved the front fans to the top, and was able to fit the NZXT cooler back in.

But it still says 'Diagnose problem' and I have ripped the entire build apart and put it back together twice. None of the other parts are broken, all the fans work, and I even sprayed the case with air, even though it wasn't dusty.

All his e-mail says is:

"My PC broke itself! I'm not sure what's wrong, can you have a look? The stupid thing keeps crashing! I'm a total Intel fan boy. I was on PC Bay the other day and saw some awesome Plastic White cables."

I installed system info and 3D mark after replacing the broken CPU and nothing crashes, and all the temps are fine. I also installed the Virus scanner and ran that, and it found nothing....

Share the .binary file if you are stuck.

How should I go about doing that? do I need to upload it to like a cloud service? Or is there an 'attach' file here on the forums somewhere?

Sorry, I don't use Steam a whole lot. I only jump on and play a couple times a week, if that.

Yes, you could upload it to a cloud service and share a link. Or you could join the game's Discord server, and ask for help there. Discord is a lot easier.
I uploaded the save file to google drive. The PC in question is on the first work bench.

When you took the system apart, did you notice that the 2 TB HDD was broken?

Replace it with a new 2 TB HDD, and make sure all cables are Plastic White, and you'll get 5 stars.

You have a broken Barracuda 2tb. This plus an air cooler that fits like the 33 eSports, the white plastic cables and the cpu that you already replaced will give you 5 stars.
Welp, I feel like a dummy. I for whatever reason never notice the drive.

But, they issue with the cooler still stands. It was sent in with the cooler mounted at the top, and when you take it out, you can't put it back in without taking the 3 fans from the front and moving them to the top and then mounting the cooler to the front.

Thanks for the help on the drive though fells! I feel like a dumb dumb. I have gotten so use to SSD's that I forgot to look for HDDs.
