Manual Cable Management

Hey there!

Great little game, I remember seeing an early build of the game where the dev was working on a feature that allowed manual cable management.

Is that still in the game that i'm missing how to access somehow? Has the system been replaced with the auto cable management? Perhaps only some cases allow it for some reason?

I'm just wondering as some of the automatic cable management is a bit questionable at times, and it feels like it'd add another layer of customisation to the game.

You can disable them in the "Tool Upgrade Options" from in-game menu.

No. Manual cable management has not been added to the game unfortunately. Hopefully it will be added at some point though because I agree with your assessment of the automatic cable management choices. As it is now though your stuck with the simple point to point system and your only customization options are which jack you want to plug into which doesn’t matter.

You are correct about disabling the auto cable tool but that’s not what OP is asking here. They are asking about being able to manually route cables in the case instead of being stuck with the default positioning.

I thought OP was talking about how to not automatically put cables but realized that there's no point to do such a trivial thing lol. Anyway, the cable management thing would be a great feature if they put on the future updates.

There's been small instances where the routing of cables is at times routed a bit excessively. In turn it clips through some water cooling setups.
