No way to see if a MoBo support CPU OC?!?
And here we go with the next serious problem. There is literally no option ingame to find out which MoBo supports CPU OC and which did not. You have to use google. In real life these informations are always available.

It's really not that hard. Just use a motherboard with an OC capable chip set (like any of the Z series for Intel). Honestly I just don't think this game is for you. You seem to be struggling with it a lot whereas the vast majority of people pick it up pretty quickly. It's a helpful community if you want help, but so far you just want to complain. And you don't even own the game...

I think you can overclock it with any MoBo.I think you only need to use a CPU with the K at the end or X, if you use AMD, wich are the unlocked ones.

No only certain chipsets allow overclocking. So even if you have an unlocked CPU like an I7-7700K you can't (unless you really want to) slap that in the Mortoni H170 board because the H170 chipset isn't capable of overclocking.

Yes there is. It's very simple: For motherboard It's any motherboard with a Z or X series in the name of the motherboard chipset and is also not a Mortani or DFL brand. Remember you must also have an X or K series CPU too. With AMD it's any AMD motherboard that is not a Mortani or DFL brand, and any AMD processor.

But basics like this should be explained ingame.

Maybe so, but they aren't and haven't been, and it hasn't been a problem. The game also doesn't explain that you have to use matching memory sticks but people figured that one out on their own too.

It's not going to hold your hand and teach you everything about building a computer. This is a game for enjoyment. Not a program that will teach us how to actually build real computers in real life.

LOL You are a 100% Fanboy. This is not about holding someones hand but "BASIC INFORMATION". If you cant differentiate these things then stop talking nonsense and troll somewhere else.

This is something the player is easily capable of figuring out on their own, the game doesn't need to explain it to you.

While I agree the in-game properties doesn't always show us what is compatible or overclockable, I have worked pretty hard on a guide that might help you.

Speaking of trolling it seems to be you that is trying to troll the rest of us.

For one: Knowing if a motherboard or CPU can overclock or not is not "Basic information". That's "extra information" that is not necessary to complete the game. We can decline all overclock jobs and not do them if someone finds it confusing. It's entirely possible to make it to the highest level in career in the base game without ever overclocking anything. No one actually needs to know if anything is overclockable or not.

Crazy how you squirm. Are you an eel? Declinig a major part of game cause devs forgot to put simple and needed information into game. As a computer dealer i get all information since the hardware supplier wanna make good deals with me. If they wont give me important information i wont buy.

THX. The first who understand. A list will help but better would be just a simple information with the hardware as usual in rl.

Sure but that makes gaming experience worse or do you really think people like to google just cause devs were to lazy ( or stupid) to implement simple basic information like this mobo can be oc or not?!?

You don't actually deal with computer hardware in real life. And you don't even own this game either. You're just trying (very poorly) to troll people in the forums about a game you don't own. I'm still not sure why you're trying to do this but it's not working. We can all see right through you.
