And before you claim it's fake: No things can not be faked on that website. They image things and websites as they are. They are an independent organization that I don't have access to.
EDIT: And this right here is what I'm talking about: https://web.archive.org/web/20220702215619/https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197962134104 They're even soliciting people to try to report me now. Why.. Why are you doing this to me?
The big issue for me, and it would definitely change my answer to your question, is if the new game fixes all the problems with this game. Many things are explained poorly, or not at all, or flat-out wrong in this game (disclaimer: I haven't put a lot of time into this, so maybe things are eventually explained correctly, but I doubt it considering this is sold as a 'simulation' game). So if all that is fixed and you're using this as a tool to learn things then the new game would be better, But only time will tell on that.
While PCBS 2 does technically make PCBS obsolete this game is still fun. Definitely worth picking up on a sale if you can. Plus PCBS 2 is still in beta so it’ll be awhile before the actual game comes out. As far as gaining or refining PC building skills through the game, I wouldn’t count on it. It’s a fun game but definitely not going to help much with real world skills.
It's a simulator game though. I'm sure it's the next best thing next to actually building a PC. Just like any other simulator game. It will provide some knowledge and know-how, at least.
