Side Panel unremovable? / GPU part below the desk

Hi there,

I've been testing this game for a couple of hours yesterday, having only one issue: I can't seem to remove the side panel of this computer. Check out the screenshot:

I think I have tried everything by now. Removing all the other parts trying to access it from another side, restarting the game, trying to click through stuff, but nothing seems to work.

Also, there is this little piece stuck beneath the desk, which is attatched to the pc (it rotates with the pc's front).

I hope you know what's going on. Because I don't.

It's a bug from the "side" install of the GPU, that clearely show in red in your pic, while you hover your mouse over that side panel.

Unfortunately, the latest case and parts addition patch hasn't been a smooth one, and this issue has been reported in the bug part of the forum already.

Only thing you can do for now is send back this PC to owner, and take the hit for the bad review...
Or wait until a patch fix all that.

Now, if you are a new player of the game, the latest issues don't reflect the usual standard of good pratice of this early access game, so don't judge it too harshly on what it is for now.
So best advice is to wait a bit to play it again, because for now, you may face quite a decent amount of head scratching bugs for a new player that don't know the game.

It's just a bad timing to start playing it

I'm fairly certain it will soon be back in a much better state soon, so hang on there.

I already assumed that it's a bug, and I've made my peace with it, especially since it's an still an early access game. I can live with that one-star review.

I really enjoy the game so far, and I'm looking forward to continue it.

All good ;-) some did buy it and did not realize it was still an early access, so I just added it in case you missed the info.

Have fun playing it, just maybe take a few to read the bug section of the forum, because right now, I personally think it's a bit too many issues to look at before accepting a job due to some of the bugs with the cases.

I'm beeing lucky not to draw too many of them in my RNG from jobs, but I recognize I could get way more lol.

Encountered same bug with side installed GPU which seems to extend through the side panel, due to which neither can be removed. This happened with a "Cooler Master Masterbox 5 (white)" case and a "EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti GAMING" GPU, side mounted, instead into a PCI slot. Game version (x64 0.9.3.4)

I had this as well, thankfully my job was just to upgrade RAM and I was able to remove the other side cover and front panel and access the memory slots and get the job done.
