Use this to find the cheapest parts necessary to fulfill the requirement. $1000 for a 3dmark job is easy, you should be able to complete it for less than that easily.

Cutting it close! That 2gb Ram just screams how edgy the build is.

Just a head up, those story jobs never requires you to install only new parts... so as soon as you integrate a single major key component as a used part in the mix, the budget is so easy.

Those few jobs that don't care about used parts are the only reason I keep some around. Sure eventually you can make a few boxes and sell them on PCBay but all the low-spec crap won't sell for much even if you OC it. The savings on tight-budget jobs like the streamer starting out or the old lady who got tricked into eventually putting in an i7 can really add up compared to what you earn on PCBay. Even without used parts it's possible to do these jobs, I had a bad habit of getting better heatsinks than necessary and not stripping excess fans etc.

it can be done for merely $800.
Ryzen 1200 + MSI 980 Ti LE + 1 RAM 2133Mhz. The rest of parts do not affect 3D Mark Score so just get the cheapest ones.
