You only replace the dead hard drive, you do not replace both. That's probably your problem. Normally most people would remove each part one by one and look at it in their inventory to see if it says "Broken" and if it does not say "Broken", then put it back, complete until you find the broken part. That's generally how you diagnose everything.

but in this case is only a hdd replacement, but no more information. The pc boots and runs normally

Then check each drive one at a time to find the broken one, replace the broken one, and only the broken one, and don't replace anything that's not broken, and problem solved and job done.
Also make sure you cable the HDD in after you put in the new one. Cables are easy to forget about and will cause problems when completing tasks

if you have the autoconnector tool (the one that connects the gpu, psu, mouse, and keyboard) it might be causing it to bug out some people have suggested replacing the broken hdd with an ssd instead

Currently that won't work. Currently you have to replace a hard drive with a hard drive, not an ssd.

i switched both hdds (one was from a previous job) and both are ok on my inventory, non broken. so its pc is just there gathering dust
AlexMobile1980 Apr 18, 2018 @ 9:20am
don't forget, you can always run a virus check too, after fixing all hardware and cleaning dust.
Jorji Apr 18, 2018 @ 9:45am
well. it the problem is not on the hdds it could be a virus, i'll try that

Edit. Its not a virus. So this guy has two hdd, 1 is 500gb and 2 is 1tb. i put in the second one in a previous job. now he job is replace the hdd.
i've swapped both hdds for same capacities ones but no result, no virus no nothing. and the hdds i remove only the 1 shows in inventory as used. the other one is like a new one.

Positive for that one I just added a drive to amount to the requested capacity. Not too sure if that is the same job you are on or not.

May have been the increase job. My bad, I'm on day two of no sleep lol.

No, the bug is you used the wrong hard drives for the job. As long as you put the correct parts in, it will see them and complete jobs. You're doing it wrong, it's not a bug.
