why does this cpu not fit into this motherboard?
My assignment is to make a build.... I'm trying to save up for a bench so I'm trying to do it cheap
I'm at lvl 6

why does this cpu not fit into this motherboard?

it's a cpu for a LGA 1151 (skylake) socket so? what is wrong? why doesnt it fit? / are not compatible the game says?

Motherboard: Mortoni Z170 Mtech

CPU: Intel Celeron G3930

The Socket from the Motherboard is for Skylake, while the G3930 has a Kabylake socket

in real life you can do it but the game doesnt allow it

Yea its daft, the game needs an option to flash Skylake Motherboards BIOS to accept Kabylake.
