Buy and install 6 Corsair RGB 120mm Fans. If i recall correctly you might need to install all 6 since he already has 2 on the front.

Install the Lighting App via the USB stick.

He will already have the colour on his front case fans, you will be able to copy it from there and apply it to all the lights.

Did this solve your issue?
Don't forget to install the color app from the flash stick too. You need that to actually set the colors.

When you have inserted the USB, Boot the PC in question to the desktop.

Then go to Add or Remove Programs and you will see something like this:

You want to install the Lighting App

Its present on some machines not all, I beleive you're right about it being pre-installed for that particular Job. Glad you got it sorted.

It is a free item in the game you wont be able to ot need buy it any where. Next job you get where you have to install 3DMark via the USB Flash Stick, have a quick look and you will see the lighting program in the "Add Programs" list. You can add that program to any machine you want.

Just to add to this because it confused me for a while and i felt dumb when i realized. The 255.0.255 is the shade of purple he wants and you can enter those numbers in the lighting app. Customer won't be satisfied unless it's that exact color no matter how many lighted components you pot in it. Customer ended up with 10 lighted components instead of 6 because i failed to realize that.

I purchased 6 fans with lights and all are at 255.0.255, however it's still not showing completed. Are they expecting all different parts?

I am having this same issue. I have six RGB fans, an NZXT water cooler, and two RAM sticks all colored 255.0.255. Yet it doesn't give me credit for completing the job.

I figured out (or at least i THINK to have figured out) the problem: if the coloring is set to "pulsing" or something else than the (boring) constant lighting, it won't count.
(I'm using the german version, so I have no clue how the settings are named in english ^^)

Just set the lighting effect to "Static" and everything should be fine.
