Replace own pc case in carrer mode.

I've been wondering, is there a way to change case in youre own pc in carrer mode?
I know it doesn't change anything, but i just wanted to have fun with my friend with all that money that we've earnd. We bought best parts that we had in shop and realized that we can't swap our old pc case for new one, that was compatible with the new parts.

I have built 3 or 4 new pc's for my workshop. Just build a new pc how u want and swap it witht the one on the floor, then load apps you need from usb stick. Sell old one or strip it for parts? How hard can it be?

That's what i wanted to do, but i can't put empty case on warkbench to put new parts in. Or i just don't know how to do it.

I have no issues picking up my empty case i got off PCbay, Right clicl to picvk it up, Left click to place it on the desk.

Make sure you havent placed a sticky note on the desk in question (such as a new build sticky note).

I bought the case in normal shop not PCbay, can this make the diffrence? Or maybe i need to buy that big cabinet in the corner?

it doesnt make a difference where you buy it, but you need the cabinet to store cases

You can also store empty cases in the hallway by the door, so long as you dont buy more than 2. That is until you get the cabinet at level 6.
