IT Expansion printer jam help
in an assignment called Introducing Project Cash Money, Finance Director Vitte asks us to fix the printer cuz it's jammed w/ a t-shirt. i've tried bashing it, opening all drawers while bashing, turning it on&off- nothing seems to fix it. has anyone completed this type of assignment perfectly?

Maybe if you keep bashing it then it might eventually unjam it's self after a while?

hey, thanks for the reply. i've tried bashing this off-site office printer 40+ times in one attempt, over 2 mins of bashing in another but it still stays orange. this particular printer only switches to blue when turned off & then back on- but i only get 4 stars instead of 5... maybe it's a bug, maybe not. but thanks again for the response.

Same problem here. Sceen turns blue, but you only get 4/5... So bug, or developers forgot to implement the actual shirt to drawers or something.

Yeah, for me all these printer jobs worked fine. But I also had all the helps activated that show the hidden objectives. Enabling these helped a lot since it stated the place to diagnose e.g. "Fix printer jam - Drawer 3".
What I did observe was that it sometimes took a few seconds to register in the printer that all was well again, i.e. you had to wait quite long for the printer's screen to change from red to blue.

Perhaps you might have missed some other objective like cleaning out dust from the PC?

you bring up 2 good points:
- i don't remember if i ever enabled those hints at the start...
- & i did successfully complete the other objectives

like you, i found on other jobs w/ a printer it took a couple sec's to register but, golly gosh, i just can't seem to remove the t-shirt from this printer. (i did send it to the night crew but i have a save file just in case it is a bug & will update if necc)

Please note that there exists no 3D model of a t-shirt in this game. So you will never see it, You just fix the jam. If the printer's screen is blue all is fine, job done.

I think you sometimes need to open each of the 4 paper drawers, to get it to work. Banging on it is step 5. And I always turn the printer off and back on, as step 6.

You save "Tactile Response" until step 5? ;P

Yeah, Kinetic Energy Transfer (hitting it hard) would be the first thing I'd try.

If this were real life then hitting something should always be the *LAST* resort to fix any electronic device, IT or otherwise. If it is something else wrong with it then you may actually damage it by hitting it.

True, absolutely... I was speaking in jest, in case you didn't get that :)
