I mean yeah part of the main reason to make a sequel is to add new functionality not remove existing things.
I feel like there's a limit to what I can discuss politely on the Steam forum about an Epic title but we'll show players some of the features prior to launch and let them make an educated decision on whether or not they feel it's a worthy sequel and if they should play it.
Well, it's clear that you refuse to use Epic store anyways, so blacklisting a developer that is going to release their games on Epic only for the coming future because they are owned by Epic seems like naturally wouldn't buy anything from them in the future anyways.
I don't like their attitude towards the PC platform or their policies of buying 3rd party exclusives to force people to buy the games on their store as they can't compete with Steam or anyone else.
Please remove this game from Steam too as you say you are now owned by Epic and can only sell your games on Epic Store from now on.
With that said, Epic doesn't care about consumers but Valve does. There's no comparison there.
Is it planned to always be an Epic Games exclusive, or will it do like others where it becomes available elsewhere after a year?
They are owned by Epic Games. They can not ever legally release PCBS 2 on Steam even if they wanted to.
They can if Epic gives permission, I hope they will as they will notice that the game will be far less financially successful without eventual release to Steam.
The trailer looks mostly like the current game after they finally figured out how to add anti-aliasing after all this time
