RGB Fans not working
Does a motherboard have to support RGB fans in order for the fans to actually RBG? XD
I am doing that Oli chaps pc and it has a Gigabyte GA-AB350 mobo. And when I install the RGB fans, they work but don't light up. What am I doing wrong?

I think you need some software for tuning the lights

They should light up in default mode. There is a RGB light tuning software you can purchase from the store to set the lights they way you want them.

I have bought that software and it just doesn't show up nor do the lights turn on the RGB fans. That's why I'm so confused

You have to insert the USB drive in to the computer and then actually install the software in the computer you want to control RGB in. Just because you bought it will not make it magically show up on it's own.

And you don' think I did that? I've built computers for years in real life lol, trust me, I know how it works. I am pretty sure it's just bugged o something

So you gave us the motherboard, but did not specify the fans you want to use,
In my experience every newly installed RGB fan usually lights up in rainbow coloured unicorn puke without even using the Lighting app. Maybe you are using the wrong fans?
The app is really only needed for setting a specific colour or lighting effect like breathing, ramping etc.

I made sure that in the description for lighting, it said RGB. The fans turn on but the rgb lights don't, that's what I'm so discombobulated about. It's so damn weird

Have you tried installing a fan from a different vendor? If so, which one?

check if the cables are all set correctly. mouseover each case fan, take out the cable from all of them. then put back each cable manually. if, after using all of the mb's connectors theres still a fan that isnt connected (check for the orange highlights), you did something wrong with the cables again, or the mb has too few connectors for what you want to do. remember that, in many situations, you can connect a fan to another to save the mb connectors.

Have done that plenty of times too. I am just very curious about this weird bug

What RGB value are the RGB fans currently set for and what lighting mode is currently active?

They literally don't light up. They should even without the software. They act like they are not rgb fans or a fan without lights

This entire thread and you still haven't given us the exact model of RGB Fan that is not working for you. Could you please tell us what model of fan doesn't appear to be working? Also what computer case are you using?

Its the very first one you unlock, the Arctic Bionix, clear discription of rgb lighting. I'll just reinstall the game at this point, it doesn't matter
