Highest 3DMark scores?
With the new update, 3DMark scores have gone WAY up from what they used to be. Lets hear the kinds of scores you have gotten with the most recent update. I am currently sitting at a score of 29802. My specs are as followed.
CPU- Ryzen 5950X overclocked to 5075 at 1.80v
GPU- 2x Corsair Watercooled 3090 FE 2520 core 1090 memory
4x8 G.Skill Trident Ripjaws @ 4800
MSI MEG X570 Godlike

Case/Accessories
Reijintek ENYO
3x Corsair Hydro Series X XR7 480
2x Corsair Hydro Series X XR7 360
2x Alphacool Eisbecher D5 250mm
EKWB EK-Supremacy Evo
Corsair AX1600i
3x Adata XPG Spectrix S40G 2tb (unnecessary i know)

I am still trying to work with the CPU and the "Silicon Lottery" this game has, but lets hear the numbers you have gotten. And if there are any tips to give to people please feel free to say!

Happy Overclocking!!

**EDIT**
30000+ mark has been hit!!!
Specs are the same as above, but with a slightly different OC to the CPU
New mark is now 30241

**EDIT 2**
So its been a hot minute. Like a 1-2yr+ since i made this post

I am gaining time back to finally get back into this again and i will be hardcore grinding till I manage something document-able.

However, with the release of PCBS 2 coming soon, I will more than likely head over towards there as there will more than likely have more support, and yadda yadda yadda you get the idea.

I will post updates when I begin to really climb numbers, again ive just been caught up with college and work that i just really havnt had time. But expect a new post as i continue through the process once again.

The highest possible score without bugs or exploits is 31318. The highest score if you don't mind negative memory (which is totally possible in the game) is 31439. The highest possible score with the bug/exploit that makes a +20% voltage GPU into +50% voltage is 35909. In the last patch the WR was 35759, although that can also be considered as a bug with the 6800 XT overperforming. Anyways, good job on the system, my only advice is to use threadripper 3960x as CPU, when overclocked it outperforms all other CPUs, even the other threadrippers, if you can cool it enough. You should aim for 4884 CPU clock and 6313 mem clock. :steamhappy: Happy OC to you too :steamhappy:

There's a thread for that already, here it is: https://steamcommunity.com/app/621060/discussions/0/3115898713373863975/?ctp=7

I think you should be posting there so we can keep it centralized all in one place.

I appreciate the advice! I have tried the Threadripper before, but never really got the best results with it as compared to the ryzen 9. Im not sure if I am just absolutely messing it up, but compared to the ryzen 9, its a night a day difference. I can manage 50fps with the Threadripper, and 56fps with Ryzen 9. So if there is something I am just majorly messing up, which is most likely, feel free to let me know what has worked for you!

As I said, overclock the Threadripper 3960 to 4884 Mhz, with the RAM at 6313. No other CPU will reach that performance.

So ive spent the last hour tuning with the cpu, and it seems whenever i tune with the cpu's base clock, it bluescreens when under load. So im not sure if there is something I have to do differently to get there? Ive used about 15 different versions of the 3960x already, so ill keep binning and see if i can manage, but im not sure how to get to those speeds without it crashing

Yoyó May 6, 2021 @ 8:21am
15? The average binning amount to get a CPU that can handle 4884 Mhz is 31. For RAM it's 56 per stick, and you need 4. Take a look at https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1875691108 to troubleshoot blue screens and learn more about overclocking.

How you get those speeds is through what's called "Binning" with this game. What this means is (very much like in real life) the developers have implemented a "Silicon Lottery" in the game. Every CPU that you buy from the store in career mode or pull out of inventory in-game is unique. There are several attributes that get randomized with computer processors: Power, Thermals, and speed. Not all processors can do 4884 Mhz. For example: You could buy 500 x Threadripper 3960X processors from the store. They're rated for 4500 Mhz default. Out of those 500 you may have half that would only do 4600 mhz. Or 4700 Mhz for the other 90%. And out of 500 you might get about 1-5 of em that might actually do 4800 mhz. Or you could have all 500 of them that won't even do 4.7 ghz. It's all random and there's no gurantee. Some processors just won't go past a certain Mhz no matter how cool you can keep em or how many volts you give em. They failed on the silicon lotto and it's just what they do. Some of em won't even do +100 Mhz over stock speeds. Also with thermals you will have each one of those 500 chips running at a different temperature at the same mhz. Some might be 80c at 4500 mhz while others might be 70c, etc. And some might use +50 watts more than other chips even if the clocks and thermals are good. It's all random.

The same goes for video cards, random there too and not all of them will overclock to the same clock speeds or run the same thermals. It's possible to find hardware that will all run at the same high clocks but it would take a lot of work trying different components at random to find them.

I took a little break from the Threadripper setup, and went back to the ryzen 9 set up, and I have made it past the 30000 mark!
The Threadripper setup was giving me a headache because after trying MANY different cpus of it, I never was able to get anything over the 4.6 mark. I will definitely continue to work on it, for I have a ton of determination ahead of myself with it, but its definitely a headache,
As for the Ryzen 9 setup, I have gotten it to get to about 5070 so Id say ive found the better of the group. I am working with the gpu a little bit to see if I cant give it a little extra push, but it gives me a sign of hope for sure.

Yoyo, I really appreciate the guide, that is actually a major help for me cause I was kinda going on my own path, and that guide helped me a ton to figure out what I was doing wrong.

Aqua, I am kinda new with the "Binning" deal, so thank you for the information. Its very much a headache to work with, but I knew a little bit about the in-game "Silicon Lottery". Im basically playing wheel of fortune at this rate with the threadripper setup, and so far, its more of "Wheel of Unfortune". But im just gonna grind it out till a pot of gold appears

When you play with the cpu base clock it will need more voltage as well, which means more cooling, and after you add too much cooling, you can up the clock speed, and the cycle continues

Next i think to try with 10900K with 3090 or again with 6900xt
I would try the 3090 with the Ryzen first, cause I have found the Corsair 3090 FE has the highest outcome in performance as compared to the 6900
But I would say it doesnt hurt to try! Thats still a really good score with the 6900XT
SeatLeonFR5 May 11, 2021 @ 5:24am
So thisi is the score with Corsair 3090 FE
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2483947612

I tried with 10900K on 5.6GHz on 1.85v (cant more- on 2.05V CPU die) with same Corsair 3090FE and score was 29 533.

Definitely giving the card a run for its money! Id still try the Ryzen 9 with it, cause that is how I was able to get over the 30000 mark. I am still tuning with the threadripper, but its still being about as painful as it gets. But for an Intel cpu, thats actaully really really good!
This is not a new thing and people have been over this hundreds of times here and on reddit. The fastest processors in the game for 3dmark are overclocked AMD threadripper chips. And the fastest score is had from AMD 6800XT water cooled cards at the moment using the +50% power glitch/cheat.
SeatLeonFR5 May 11, 2021 @ 8:30pm
Which AMD Threadripper recommend to try so. About 6800XT water cooler i never try it, but i will. Do u think This glich(cheat) will be repair in next updates or ?
