I think you should be posting there so we can keep it centralized all in one place.
I appreciate the advice! I have tried the Threadripper before, but never really got the best results with it as compared to the ryzen 9. Im not sure if I am just absolutely messing it up, but compared to the ryzen 9, its a night a day difference. I can manage 50fps with the Threadripper, and 56fps with Ryzen 9. So if there is something I am just majorly messing up, which is most likely, feel free to let me know what has worked for you!
The same goes for video cards, random there too and not all of them will overclock to the same clock speeds or run the same thermals. It's possible to find hardware that will all run at the same high clocks but it would take a lot of work trying different components at random to find them.
The Threadripper setup was giving me a headache because after trying MANY different cpus of it, I never was able to get anything over the 4.6 mark. I will definitely continue to work on it, for I have a ton of determination ahead of myself with it, but its definitely a headache,
As for the Ryzen 9 setup, I have gotten it to get to about 5070 so Id say ive found the better of the group. I am working with the gpu a little bit to see if I cant give it a little extra push, but it gives me a sign of hope for sure.
Yoyo, I really appreciate the guide, that is actually a major help for me cause I was kinda going on my own path, and that guide helped me a ton to figure out what I was doing wrong.
Aqua, I am kinda new with the "Binning" deal, so thank you for the information. Its very much a headache to work with, but I knew a little bit about the in-game "Silicon Lottery". Im basically playing wheel of fortune at this rate with the threadripper setup, and so far, its more of "Wheel of Unfortune". But im just gonna grind it out till a pot of gold appears
When you play with the cpu base clock it will need more voltage as well, which means more cooling, and after you add too much cooling, you can up the clock speed, and the cycle continues

Next i think to try with 10900K with 3090 or again with 6900xt
But I would say it doesnt hurt to try! Thats still a really good score with the 6900XT

I tried with 10900K on 5.6GHz on 1.85v (cant more- on 2.05V CPU die) with same Corsair 3090FE and score was 29 533.
Definitely giving the card a run for its money! Id still try the Ryzen 9 with it, cause that is how I was able to get over the 30000 mark. I am still tuning with the threadripper, but its still being about as painful as it gets. But for an Intel cpu, thats actaully really really good!
