3D MARK SCORE

so i have to hit a 2d mark score of 5357 and i put in a new CPU and GPU that from the PART RANKING program says should be enough but it still falls short and at this time i wasted a ton of money and time on it. does ram affect it too? (been a while since i played because of this frustrating problem)

Ram and ram speed matters, especially for higher end cpus.

The Part Ranking scores can only be used to compare hardware parts against each other. These do not correlate with 3DMarks scores.

Be aware that dual channel also matters i.e. 2 RAM modules score higher than 1 module. In high end systems the difference can amount to 2000 or more 3DMark points.
