The Kraken X52 has a radiator thickness of 30 mm, the X53 has 27 mm.
And the initial X52 is not AM4 compatible, but a new SKU with an AM4 bracket was introduced later.
So the X53 should be compatible with more cases and easier to install because of its reduced thickness.
This might have an effect in RL, buit ingame it will probably not matter at all.
The realistic answer is most likely: The game developer has a deal with NZXT to include their hardware and they wanted to have all models represented in the game.
This could be seen in other cases, too. Have you ever asked yourself why there are so many colour variants of the Arctic Freezer air cooler?
