I don't mean offense here but you should really go through the tutorial in game before trying to build things I think.
Are you using the auto-connect tool? Because sometimes that screws up things. Try unplugging other things first (case fans, video card power) and connect cpu fan first.
That’s a nice guy, you were being an ass to him saying blah blah this many hours this many blah yet he still had the decency to still help you? I think you should apologise dude it’s the least you can do for him helping you!?
We don't even know if the problem is solved yet. Haven't heard back from OP here.
OP claims that the dad has 42 hours in. It would be really funny if it only because he forgot the CPU clamp.
