In my experience, the AIO radiator location depends on the chassis configuration and component position. I've been able to mount in any location of the case depending on the configuration of the case. Some of the chassis had a drive bay in the way so it was removed to make space for the rad. Others have RAM blocking the hoses so I was forced to install the rad at the top or the back. Have you tried other chassis or repositioned the chassis drive bays? Some rad can not be installed at the top or the front because the RAM blocks the hoses.
Just empty the case, remove filters and front panel etc. do not mount RAM or graphic card etc. before
I'm all for being able to rotate the radiators so I can get the tubes where I want them, I wish there was a way to move the fans too, so you can have them infront, behind or even push-pull config.
If you aim tghe CPU then the game will choose the closest free position.
