Sponge - eSports DLC

how the hell do you use it?

i need to clean up a spilt drink during a match, and i can get all kinds of squelchy sponge noises happening, but the spill will not clean up,
do i need to ring out the sponge into a sink? is there even a sink?!

if i try using the sponge like the compressed air it just continues with the sloshing noises and i run out of time

Hover the area, like on the desk, to see if "Clean spillage" tooltip shows. Once you find that tooltip, click to use the sponge to clean it, I think.

I can't get the sponge to work either. I tried selecting it in my inventory but that does nothing. The "Clean Spillage" tooltip never shows up no matter where I hover the cursor over the desk.

my mistake was trying to clean the PC, when i needed to be cleaning the desk, usually its been green and between the case and mousepad, make sure you're cleaning the desk in the arena!

Yeah, I see the green spill just fine. :) I just can't get the game to recognize that my mouse cursor is hovering over it. :(

FOUND THE FIX, you have to work on the pc then equip the sponge and clean it

Thanks! That sounds promising. I'll have to get back to playing the game and try it the next time I encounter a spill.

In esports, make sure to manual save the game before every end-of-day and for sure before every end-of-week, that way you can save-scum if you get absurd requests with very short timers or etc and can prep for them the day prior by reloading the save.

I also think you should hit level ~30 in career before getting to esports otherwise you'll run into some mechanics at the high-end before you are ramped into them, but that's just an opinion.

yah i have tried several times but there is like no way to clean the table or figure out what components might have gotten wet inside the computer

Check the area around the PC (You need to be working on the PC, equip the sponge click and hold on the liquid area until it clean. Done
