They are mostly complaining about the game / DLC disappearing from library even after they purchased it, which was actually a Valve-related issue that affects a variety of games and Steam users, but people left negative reviews (including a few attack languages) possibly thinking the devs / publisher did something shady. From what I see the devs have responded to most of such reviews.

Looking through new negative reviews after August 4th, excluding those about the above Valve issue, their complaints are not about the new DLC. I can see some comments about:
