Save Game Deleting

does anyone else have the issue that whenever they come out with an update, the save games from the previous version disappear?

No, the last wipe was around one year ago with introducing the new job and budget system. Since the game is out of EA phase (released as a "full" game) there was no wipe.

Same as Metallos on my side, last wipe was indeed around a year ago.

Exactly when was the last time you played the game? Was it over a year ago and you are just now updating by chance?

no i played it a few days before the 1.6 update came out, but it seems to happen whenever the game updates to a new version

I played before the 1.5 update (which broke several things) and continued few days ago, nothing went lost or became strange (except the still existing bugs which affects everyone like the not functioning part details). So i skipped completely 1.5 and my save was older.

never lost saves since the "official" unsupported older saves somewhere around v0.98
Never lost a save on any updates since then.

Something (a setting ? but which, absolutely no idea.) must be wrong on your side, if you lose saves on each updates.
