General discussion about Career mode.

Wanted to see how others are doing with levels, game experiences, and overall money earned.

I just started a new game a few hours ago, currently at level 4 with 500 dollars, several spare parts in stock and recently purchased a second workbench

After level 15 you should have all the upgrades you could want purchased and $5000+ spare money at all times and there's nothing left to spend money on. Currently the maximum level is 25.

In my current play-through (I restarted after overclocking was added) I am currently level 16 and I have all the upgrades I could want and $7000 spare and there's nothing left to spend money on. I'm on topic, why the abrasive response?

Also, like I said in my first reply, after level 15, everyone, regardless of your "experiences" will have all the upgrades and a minimum of at least $5000 spare and literally after that there's nothing else to spend money on in the game currently. Some people buy 10x of every item in the store to have a "Running stock on hand" just to have something to spend money on.

I'm on level 7 and have just done my first "build me a PC" job which was fun. Otherwise I'm tweaking 3DMark values and upgrading CPU and GPU on request.

Also I just saw my first painted case, which was pretty cool.

Been sitting lazily at level 21. If I do go back into my career, it's to take on a few PC building jobs to get my account up to about $20k and then buy up all the components to make a computer that I've tinkered with in Free Build. And then I replace my work computer with the new one.

I won't really jump back into career mode a lot until they add more hardware to unlock for the higher levels.

I am sitting at Level 8 and have 3 jobs but currently stuck because i made some bad choices on previous jobs and have run out of money to complete the 3 jobs not to mention not enough to pay bills. thinking about starting over.

You should probably start over then, you probably can't recover by then.

Diverse the jobs. My message to devs. I know this is an early access, but the game should look like a game, not a software for PC building. Awating for new places in career mode.

I'm pretty much done with the game for now, waiting for a proper career mode. There's nothing left to do at this point, really. Level 12 or something like that. around 5k on bank. Just got tired of doing the same stuff over and over again. 3d Mark jobs started to get really annoying to me, and you get a lot of those on higher levels.

I'm doing pretty well considering the fact that this is my first playthrough. I'm level 6 right now. The main issue I'm running into is trying to get a PC to 3DMark score 5270 with a budget of $750, but the best parts I can get within the budget barely scratches 4000.

You're lucky there's no active moderators in these forums. Elsewhere on steam forums they would ban you for that and other non-steam forums on the internet hard permanently ban people from their entire website for thread necro. Unfortunately they don't do that here on steam so... yeah. You should probably go open a new topic anyway. At least you realize it's a necro and you add some pun in it, so the effort is there.
That beeing said, you could have created your own thread

Now on such a job, no one will ever be able to answer you, as it will only be achievable with used parts to fit budget.
And at your level, the difficulty will be :
WHAT dual GPU have you available as a pair USED in your inventory ?

Because solutions with dual GPU that brings you to the 5270 there are... but do you have them, that's an other question.

I'm level 18 and I'd just like to know when I unlock the 1080Ti. They're old tech now so it seems like I should have it rather soon :p

Why are we still discussing anything in this topic? We didn't even have the new career mode with bongle reviews back when this topic was started. It's over a year old. Let it die people.
