Case fans: size issues?

Hey!

I’ve been having an issue with the case fans. They come in different sizes, and I don’t know how to tell what size a case uses?

I first noticed the problem when I started installing liquid coolers, and realized their measurements weren’t the same as the regular coolers.

Does it say anywhere what size case fans a particular case uses, or do I just need to wait for the case to come to see what size they have?

There's no information in the game about the fan places in the cases and the part details pages have been removed.

So trial and error (in case of fans it's easier, I've some 120 and 140 mm in stock)...

That sure does sound like some juicy info that could live in a "Parts & Unlock Levels" guide. ;)

Most builds do not need any case fans. Most cases support size 120 the most, and size 140 in a lot of cases. The other case fan sizes are much more rare.

I plan on adding some columns to the Cases tab of my "Parts & Unlock Levels" guide, regarding this, eventually.
