Is there any point to reach 5 stars rating?

I am currently on 15 level with 5 stars rating of my shop, but I get orders that requires only 4 stars rating. Therefore, I was wondering whether I need to keep strictly to 5 stars or there are more complex orders on higher level waiting me with that highest rating. I just think this part of game is not done properly. Any thoughts?

Yes. There are 5-star jobs that pay more money, reward more experience, and in general are usually more complex / fun to complete jobs that require you to reach 5.0 rating before you can accept them.

It's not about level it's about your star rating. When your star rating is about 4.0 - 4.5 you should start seeing them appear in the shop but you won't be able to accept them until you get your star rating to 5.0.

i have the same issue, i've got 5 star rating but i'm not receiving any 5 star jobs, just the 4 star ones

Aquafawks: Do you have proof about the 5-star jobs? I think the jobs are coded to only require a job rating that is 4 or less, and my proof is that I only ever get 4-star-jobs and also the TextAssets show random job requirements of 4-stars max (See the "Source Data" of my "Parts & Unlock Levels" guide). Do you have any proof to back up your claim that a 5-star-job-requirement exists??? If not, then please stop spreading it as truth. Thanks.

Victor: There is an achievement for getting 25 consecutive 5-star jobs, which is 5 more than what BONGLE shows which is only the last 20. Also, 4-star-jobs are tougher and maybe pay more, than fewer-star-jobs. Those are the reasons to have higher star ratings.

We're been over this 50+ times in that other thread in the past with you and BonPadre and I'm not going down that road with you two again. Yes 5 star jobs exist in the game. Yes they require 5 stars to get them. It's not a big deal and it doesn't require 50+ posts and a 20 page thread to discuss it. And no I'm not going to post screenshots or "Proof" either because both you and BonPadre will just call me a liar (again) even if I did post anything. You both would just claim I fabricated it because (for some reason I don't understand) BonPadre hates me and goes out of their way to say stupid things to/about me. You and them don't need to de-rail yet another second thread completely off topic with useless drama.

If theres an achivement for it then obvisouly they exist. Or will exist.

Did I undestood it right? 5 star jobs will apear when I will have between 4.0 to 4.5 rating. The thing is that I already had that rating before for a while, but still no 5 star jobs in that time, so maybe I had to keep that rating for longer period or maybe you just lying. Might be also a bug which has not been fixed yet. I will be gladfull if you will provide a screenshot of 5 start order in your game session.

I've done 300 jobs in a row getting 5 stars on each, and haven't seen a 5-star-job-requirement email in any of them. I don't think they exist. A screenshot from Aquafawks could help.

Please Aquafawks, can you please provide a screenshot? Because if you can, then there's a bug where we can't get those jobs.

But I still think those jobs don't exist, per my export of the TextAsset resources of the game and per my experience.

Yep and that's fine if you were just having a normal discussion about things or discussing things calmly. My issue is that you (for some reason I do not understand) seem to find topics where I have been posting or writing things in and your first comment in said topic is to immediately and directly quote something I wrote with the sole intention of stating "You're wrong." You have done this repeatedly in multiple topics all across the PCBS forums so many times I've lost count now. I usually try to ignore it. I don't really have time to bother with this game again today. I barely have time to reply to anything on the forums today. I really have no interest to even open or spend any time in this game anymore. It's painful looking at the computers in PCBS on work stations anymore with all the jaggies in the parts. I'm also weary of posting any screenshots on the subject for fear that BonPadre will just "Start up" with their nonsense again.

I tried to 'stem the tide' above, but seems it didn't work. For the second time: It doesn't need to go on forever like last time. The jobs exist. End of story. Move on with life.

Ok so I'll post on topic for the initial question. And all I will write in here applies only for v1.4 to 1.6 for my personal experiance, as I haven't played v1.7 seriously.

Initially in game you indeed were supposed to achieve 5 stars ratings in order to accept 5 stars jobs. That is a perfectly correct statement by Aquafawks.

Now I have played over 250h in this game, and at some point I do recall having some 5 stars jobs. What was the version when it last happened to me ??? I can't tell.
Now I'm NOT a number crushing and compiling kind of person, and as opposed to a lot of players, I do not keep tracks of all the jobs I complete and such nor do I keep spreadsheets and so on. Not for a game as easy as PCBS (I used to do that for a game like EvE online, where it had an crucial importance in order to suceed in the game)

Now in my memory (and thus it's just that, memory without proof) I'm sure I got at least story jobs that needed a 5 stars rating around the levels when you unlock the LGA 2066 sockets motherboards, so past lvl20. Again, at some point between full game release so what, between January 2019 and today.

It has been long time since I reached lvl30 and thus not having hard coded jobs (called story jobs as they are not random, and have a story and successive requests from same customer, as opposed to RNG jobs, with shorter mails and one shot customers)

The main issue that is re surfacing in that thread is that in a past thread we have tried to debate if 5 stars jobs were even existing in PCBS.
I personally would say yes at least in story jobs from memory, and I'm fairly certain that at some point, back in the days, I had even 5 stars RNG jobs.

But now, for at least 3 past updates (v1.4 -> v1.6, in which all of them I was already lvl30 anyway), I'm also pretty confident that I hadn't come across a 5 star job, or if I had, it was so scarce I cannot even remember.

So in that other thread I simpy demonstrated with pics as a backup proof that for 2 in game weeks I havent got any RNG 5 stars jobs (as per lvl30 I now only have RNG jobs). And that's what I witnessed now for a long time in the game.
I also have to say that I currently haven't played the very last update, so I never played v1.7 as of the time I type this, besides a few minutes here and there to take pics to help others, which I don't call serious gaming, as I even never saved that progress. So maybe 5 stars RNG jobs are back in v1.7 ? who knows ?

So to make it short, PUC_Snakeman and I, due to what we have encountered between what v1.4 and v1.6, believe that there was a bug in the RNG jobs that prevented players from getting 5 stars jobs. But as we don't have any proof we cannot report a bug correctly in the bug section, as we don't have a proof either that besides probably a few story jobs, RNG jobs even have a 5 star request nowadays.
And the only person claiming that those jobs do exists, still firmly camp on it's popsition to not post those 5 stars jobs screens. So it's a vicious circle as if there is really a bug we cannot report it, and thus it will probably never be fixed.
And that's all we want to achieve, demonstrate that there is (was ?) a bug that needs (needed ?) to be fixed, and not point a finger at someone calling him a liar (again unlike what he believe we do).

Now besides that, I would tell you that I personally want to keep my 5 stars rating just because I like perfection, and I am a perfectionist, so even if the game does not grant me with higher rewards, it's just a personal reason to complete successfully all the jobs and all the secondary objectives.

Is there curently a reason to keep that ? I believe not (at least until v1.6), and you can play the game fine even with sticking to 4 stars review and a 4 stars overall rating.

I also remember at a time when hard mode was introduced first and it was almost impossible to complete a lot of jobs as a 5 stars due to budget beeing so tight you should have at the time rejected a lot of jobs in order to accept only jobs you could have a 5 stars rating and in the other hands, a lot of good and older players saying that even if you were not 5 stars you were not missing a lot of the game...
So that could also lead to believe that even if there were at a time 5 stars RNG jobs, they were not that numerous anyway.

I hope this clarify the whole drama that takes place in here and also answer directly your questionning.

The 5-star-requirement-jobs do not exist, until either
a) Proof is given with a screenshot, or
b) Somebody starts a fresh career and gets ONLY 5-stars, long enough to see if any 5-star-requirement-jobs exist.

5-star-requirement-jobs do not exist

I will likely re-test b) to provide my own proof at some point, since Aquafawks continues to make a baseless claim as an answer, and refuses to back it up with any evidence. My hunch is that there may have been a bug in the game in the past that required 5 stars, but has been fixed for a long time, to correctly only require 4-or-less.

Edit: You can also look in the game, using AssetStudio, to find the "Career - Random Jobs" asset.

Note the last row, where "Prereq Rating" is 4 and "Prereq Max Rating" is 5.
