i am wondering that too, i think they actually patched it to make it a real scam now lol, which would make sense....now i wonder if the infamous DynaCorp( apologies if name is wrong) scam has a reward instead now, hmmmmm

Story emails are bugged since the december update. Normally you would get a reply in 2-3 days, now you dont. Havent even had most of the emails I remember from previous versions.

Probably. During my last playthrough, I ended up suddenly getting a bunch of story emails at level 19 or something, but the game never let me fully finish any of them.

Lol, thats confusing and disappointing. I mean, it was an obvious scam, right, and most people would never take that job, so it would be fun if the people insane enough to take the job actually were rewarded. Mold breaking and what not. Especially when there are guides that say it isnt a scam... But then, you'd be a fool not to take the job, making the mold breaking moot... Hmm... Maybe they should alternate between patches so you never know it its a scam or not xD

Or the community are huge trolls and it was always a scam?

This job is -NOT- supposed to be a scam. It's supposed to actually pay out in the end. It did all through early access through multiple playthroughs for me, and others. It paid out enough during EA that folks went to the trouble to create guides and inform people that it did finally pay out. But for it to not pay out any more today means this job is broken and someone experiencing it should go file an actual bug report in the bug report forums. It's -SUPPOSED- to be working.

Maybe it -WAS- supposed to be a scam....and it was BUGGED during EA so when they released v1.0 the scam mission was -FIXED- and now working as its -SUPPOSED- to be.
