Cost and payment
Hello. I have a question. For example, if I accept a job where I'm going to replace the GPU, but get only $ 200 for the job, but the GPU already priced $ 250, then I'll get $ 450 later or make $ 50 loss.

nope you will make a loss on it

but if you can get three jobs going at once then bundle all new parts that you need into one purchase then the other jobs will balance out the same day delivery for the job that you would normally make a loss on

I do not think that's realistic. In my free time I repair and build computer for friends and family. First, I examine a pc and make a list of the required parts, give tips for improvement and then get the money to order the parts. When everything is done I look how long I needed for the repair and will then be paid. So it should be in the simulator too. You do not know what is broken on a pc and before to say you get $ 200 for it no matter what is broken, is so stupid.

Afaik the "Repair my PC" jobs are almost always priced well. You'll make money out of that jobs, unless, let's say you order parts on "same day delivery".
Much worse are the "upgrade my pc" jobs, which are hard to calculate if they are worth it. But don't forget that you get to keep the old parts, like GPU/CPU, and reuse them to build cheap pc's for customers who want that, or you'll have a spare cheap graphics card for sli/crossfire for a more demanding costumer. There are no consequences for using used parts.

Dont do same day delivery ever. If your smart about it you should never have to. Find what you need for each PC you have on hand and order it all at the same time. Re use used parts when you can (even if they're better. But not substantially better) never sell your used parts. I've had over $30,000 dollars on hand for the past 10 levels or so. Its not that hard to manage your money.

Yes, that's the way to go, but it's not realistic. If I notice something I will write an email or I will call the customer and discuss the further course of action.
This is totally realistic in this game and if you play the game correctly even $200 gpu replacement jobs can easily be profitable. Use GPU's you saved from previous customer upgrades so you don't have to buy a new video card for them then overclock said video card and complete it without spending a single buck, free money.

daily profits is the key to this game not so much individual one's as long as when you turn that light out at night you are in profit for the day then you will always win overall many companies will operate in this way taking small loses to not turn away a job and gain a better reputation. :) I wrote a mini guide on this quite sometime ago to try and help those struggling with low profits on 3dmark score target jobs, always remember parts are better to reuse later than sell straight away thats where you get back your money. :)

So I still think it's unrealistic. I'm from Germany, and here is always a cost estimate created. Here, above all, first discusses what the customer wants to have, maybe he does not like a particular manufacturer or the like. I would at least change the game so that the customer has to pay extra for the parts. For example, I would never accept that someone build me used parts in the PC.

Unfortunately this game is a "Simulator" and not everything is going to be 1:1 exactly like real life. Some things have to "give" a little to make the simulation aspect viable. One of which is figuring out creative ways to complete jobs. Like re-using previous parts.

If i see that the money is not enough to cover the repair cost then i put the pc back together in its original state, put it back in the hallway, go to my mails and quit the job.
Its like saying to the client : you don't pay enough so go somewhere else. ;)

You should scroll up and read. All 3dmark upgrade jobs are (usually) enough to complete the job and earn a profit if you play the game correctly. Most of these jobs can be completed for free without spending a single buck out of your money in career mode.

I did read ;) Did i say you are wrong? No, because you're correct.
But i don't get why you "attack" me on my opinion.
Only gave a tip what he can do if he has a job that does not cover the costs.
Besides what is "playing the game correctly"?
Think that opinion is for everyone a bit differend because there are no points for how you complete the jobs.
But its like you said : "usualy".
For the jobs you don't have used parts sometimes the payment is just not enough.
