There is a CPU air cooler Silverstone HE 01 that has 171CFM and that is way cheaper, but it's tall, so if it's a new build, no issue, get a case in wich it can fit.
That also leave more space for case fans, and combined the case fans + the HE 01, you'll have a much better cooling than the X72.
Also know that there is silicon lottery in the game, so you may want to buy multiple times the same CPU and try wich one is best to OC to that frequency.
