you can't because you only have the ones "missing" from the PC's case. They are tied to the case you work on (or that is "active")

If you completely empty a case, and you put all the ones you have in your inventory, you'll have none left.

Try to go in your inventory while not working on a PC...
You'll find none

My inventory while I have no active PC

you will not find any case parts

Yes in my inventory I have none of them but when I work on customer PC, I always see "tons" of those items and I dont like it.
But when I buy a case and empty it, how can I get less of them?I even thinkk they get more. or what do you mean?

You can't get less of them because they are tied to the case itself. Think of them as all the extra parts you get in a separate little box when you order a case.
and can it be fixed in a patch? or can i manually delete it in my savegame?

No to both questions, because it's the easyest coding solution for devs, to achieve many things, for you and them.

Like you swap a GPU that used 2 PCI slots, for one that use only one... now if you get rid of those PCI covers, you'll not be happy to have one missing from the case, and the game telling you "missing parts"

If you had a PC that had a dual GPU and you swap fdor a single GPU, same thing.

As again it's TIED to the case you are working on, you'll never have them that accumulate to clog your inventory.

So now if it could be deleted or sold, I can already see complaints about players needing to buy them back.

And btw, when I assemble a PC IRL, the ones I take out from the case... I NEVER trash them, I ALWAYS put them safely back in the motherboard box, so in case of need I find them back.
When I had PC assembled, the shop always dropped them also in motherboard box, like all the useless cables, screws etc.

So straight answer is probably no, it will probably never be "patched" because it's probably a game mechanic decision.

Now if it makes you feel better, when it's a customer PC, think of the as what I described, you still have them at hand as long as you don't give back the PC to customer.
I will assemble them in a customer PC and throw them away in the computer.
It would be easy to allow it to sell the items.
Cause contract is finished and I want to be the one who decides which parts I stay in my inventory or which parts get deleted. So every time I build up a computer, I see a lot of those PCi covers. It makes me mad ^^
its a shame. and the real life is not guilty. because there i always choose to stay or smash parts away. and I build PCs since 25+ years.
thx anyways for your answer, but thats not what i wanted to hear about the game.
described topic......

Why is this so difficult to understand?! The spare PCI covers, drive bays, etc. DISAPPEAR from your inventory when the case is removed from the workbench! The only spare parts you ever see in the inventory are for the case of the PC you are working on at the moment.
