Edit: Please note I said COULD BE, for though that think its funny to misunderstand my writting.
Edit: Disclaimer, this is just a idea, and does not mean the developers or anyone will or will not add expansion packs or DLC, it is truely up to them, so take this with a grain of salt or pepper.
@Sid1701d, the more you post, the more you give me the impression that you're trying really hard to seem that you're knowledgeable about PCs. However, with every post you actually make it more apparent that you don't really know all that much about PCs.
Dont get me wrong though, you sound like a pretty smart kid that is really into PCs and has read a lot about them, but you don't seem have a whole lot of experience with how all that PC theory translates to practical applications.
Not trying to be mean, just letting you know how it looks.
Why the insult to Sid1701d? So this person need to be singled out because your opinion of their lack of experience? The whole point of this game is to learn in a fun way. This isn't the NewEgg website and people's building skill levels are not coming into question here. Sid is actully correct that it does just cover the basics but the important aspects are there as well. Motherboard form factors, types of memory, and CPU chipsets are hard concepts to wrap your head around until you make them tanglable.
If you carefully read my post, there is no mention of making an expansion for networking. The concepts are too complex to stuff it into this game. The post merely states how good this simulation concept is and how it would fit into other roles.
Well you're posting on the PCBS forum so it only makes sense to assume you would be discussing PCBS. Why would you come here to talk about another game? You're not wrong but neither is Turbo. If you don't want to talk about an idea like this in the context of PCBS I'd suggest posting somewhere else.
I suggest you let the moderators deem what is important and allowed to be discuss in this group. Since I don't see a moderator tag next to your name, your input is of no consequence to this post.
So you felt it was your "responsibility" to point out what you perceive as shortcomings. I read the post you attacked him/her in and there was nothing wrong with the content although the wording was a bit confusing. Although you tried to disguise it as "constructive criticism" it can be and was perceived as an insult, at least by me. Trying getting to know someone before you make such statements about their character.

No Backseat Moderating
Let the moderators do the moderating. Backseat moderating is when people who are not moderators try to enforce the forum rules. If you see a person breaking the rules, take advantage of the Report () button or simply ignore the offensive post(s), thread, or review.
____________________________________________________________
So unless your have the moderator tag next to your name it's not your place to say if this post belongs here or not.
It seems to me that you're even further confused what "Backseat Moderating" even means as well. Try reading the description again. I have never attempted to "Enforce" anything upon you.
So by telling me not to post this in the game forum in no way makes you a moderator.....hmmm, interesting.
Read the post before you comment of the post becuase as I stated:
"After going through and getting my CompTIA A+ certification I found this game and how helpful it would be to those studying to get their certifications."
Then I went on to state how nice it would be if there was a similar network simulation game out there that was Cisco based. Maybe the devs had another game in the works?
The only confusion here is why you think it's your place to say what people can and can't post here.
Again, I would suggest you re-read my posts. I have never once in this thread actually "Told you" to do anything. I have never said "you can't post here" as you are claiming. I have only provided polite suggestions to you. Please do not invent and make up words that I did not say.
So this have devolved into a "I know you are but what am I?" debate? Seeing your names pop up in several posts it seems you all feel you have the right to police this forum. Hey, you get your wish because I'm reporting the wannabe moderators here.
My name pops up so much around here because I (usually) enjoy helping others and try to show them answers to questions they ask on the forums, if I know where to find those answers. I know I'm not a forum moderator. I have never behaved as a forum moderator and I never claimed to be one.
