Custom cooling problem?
Anyone had this problem, I'm trying to do a full CPU and GPU water cooling, But some reason it won't let me connect piping to all componants because when I click on 1 link for the piping the rest don't show so I can't connect?

there will be connections unused at the gpu (unless you dual them)

I and dualing them but when I try to connect pipping it just gives me no selection to place.

just start with a simple loop pump -> radiator -> cpu -> gpu1 -> gpu2 -> pump (do the order as you like but always single connection)... best way to do this is to start at the pump and connect it to somewhere. Then go from that part to any which is not connected. then again from the third one to one which is not connected... do this until there is no unconnected part and then simply from the last part back to the pump. that is all you need. if you do the 2 gpus directly in a row, you can connect them multiple times to each other (but you dont need to do so). there should be the empty loop hint at the top right (if cables are connected and no parts are missing). you can fill the loop now

Tried that and still nothing.

can you do any piping at all?

do you have a reservoir?
Show us a screenshot of what you are doing with the water pipes please so we can try to figure out what's wrong for you.

I'm having the same issue, where when you attach a custom water cooler then go to attach the two pipes it will let you connect one but won't let you connect the other pipe. The highlighted section shows up but simply does nothing when you click on it!

for me it always worked, as long as i had 1 pipe coming in and another coming out of a component.

id say take out every pipe, then, when doing the vid cards, do 1 pipe in, then 1 pipe out of each one. there will be unused connections in the end, but that's normal.

like he said, a screenshot would help us help you.

If you're connecting video cards then this is normal. You are only supposed to use 2 of the 4 connections on a video card and the other connections are not used unless you have dual video cards installed.

No, it's for the CPU, one hose will connect and the other will highlight the connection but won't let you connect to the CPU. I actually can't understand how noone else has seen this. No picture is needed because it's so simple, Get a fractial design case, put on a motherboard and CPU and try to attach a water cooled CPU cooler, one pipe will go and the other won't attach. I tried it from the CPU to the cooler and cooler to CPU.

You're going to have to be more specific there. There are a lot of Fractal Design cases in the game and I know I've built custom water loops in the Meshify case and in the Define R5 before so I know at least those two work. Exactly which case are you having issues with?

I'll put up more info, just need a little time

I wanted to comment: No one else is reporting this because for most players this is not an issue. Perhaps you may have found a very specific combination of hardware with a glitch in it. Like a certain case, certain motherboard and certain cpu water block that don't work together. If we can figure out what you've found then we can go submit it as a bug report. Or if I can verify what you found I'll go write up a bug report for you. But this is not an issue that effects all Fractal Design cases and it doesn't effect all CPU water blocks either.

I am having the same issue as well. I have a ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 9 with EKWB Ek Supremacy Evo White and Im trying to connect it to a 240mm Corsair Hydro X Series XR5. I can get one pipe on, regardless of where it is, but the second pipe, itll highlight where I need to put it on, but once I click and it turns green, there's no point where it can "fit."
