"Weird new program" installed on customer's PC, 3 star, what gives?
Greetings!

I recently updated PCBS to the newest version to play the new career mode, and I'd like to say that it is excellent! A lot of new features and things to make the overall process a lot easier, from seeing the customers specs to seeing which parts you already have ordered, etc.

However, as I play through, I notice customers speaking about a "weird program" installed on their computer, and it grants me a 3 star rating. What's the big idea? Sure I do 'speed run' my PC upgrades since if it powers on, then it's good to me, but I don't seem to notice anything 'off'. What gives?

Also, what's with the guy who wants an upgrade to their memory but gives me a one-star because I didn't "follow the budget". And the Team-Group guy? :/

Did you install something on that PC and not uninstall it afterwards?

No, I did not. It was a simple upgrade and nothing more.

I'd say there was probably a virus on the PC that you didn't scan for. You have to pay attention to the emails now as there are hidden objectives. You can't just "speed run" everything if you want to keep your rating up and get the best job requests.

The 'Team Group' guy wants a specific brand of memory sticks -- for the optional rating boost.

1. weird programs usually means virus, install the virus scanner and perform a scan
2. team-group guy means he is team group fanboy -> install team-group memory stick(s) for him
3. keep track on your customer's available budget when upgrading their PC by clicking on the Parts tab next to Objectives

Virus. They blame you but in truth the computer comes infected.

Actually in the text customers say something along those lines
"I clicked on one too many shady site"
or
"my children used the PC and it now runs slow"

so nope, they don't blame you for infecting the PC, they blame you for not paying attention to their requests and not taking care of the Viruses
