Can't remove CPU Cooler

I've noticed in the patch notes that there were some updates about different parts being in the way of other parts.

The problem is, I just got the story mission where you have to change Stu's (from Irregular Corporation) lights to 6 magenta lights, and there's no way to remove the cpu cooler. It shows that the RAM sticks are in the way, but you can't remove those because the cooler is in the way.

I had the exact same problem, had no choice but to abandon the job...=/

I had the job and completed it. I don't recall having to remove the cpu cooler but I must of in order to complete the task. I have had a number of jobs where I had to twist the screen around a lot in order to get to the cooler power cord. Anyways it can be done - hang in there and good luck.

The problem is not the cord, I've had those where it's hard to unplug it as well and completed them. This is a new problem (1.0). I unplug the cooler and open the memory clips but can't remove the cooler nor the RAM sticks. RAM sticks are blocking the cooler and the cooler is blocking the sticks.

Nearby the same, but some else problem: I have a task to replace cpu in the nzxt s340 elite BR case with EVGA CLC280 installed on it. I cannot remove AIO cause of decorative red detail

I have the same problem i can disconnect the cable for the CPU Cooler however the memory stick is being shown as in the way.

Collisions bug usually get fixed...
BUT..
Unfortunately, any new updates with new parts or cases, can either bring new collision bugs, or I'm sometimes under the impression that sometimes it re-intrucuce some old deamons.

The reason why it wont remove is because you either didn't unplug it. Or there are surrounding case parts like the top of the case or dust filters that need to be removed first

No actually this is usually due to the developers leaving collision bugs in the game that don't get fixed. There are still a lot of these in-game.

Still a thing OVER 2 YEARS after OP. So annoying since this makes it impossible to upgrade pretty much anything else other than GPU, PSU, and fans... This is in the Esports DLC too team trinity working on Voids rig. So I cant do anything for the sponsors or what the team wants in the rig.

CPU: Ryzen 7 1700

all u have to do is go in your inventory and then remove the water block from there after you removed the motherboard from the case
