I decided not to pay my Utility Bills!
Nothing happens if you don't pay your Utility Bills, except have a higher chance of getting deadline missions. Most repair companies barely make their needs. Power bills are too high for the job income.

If you can't afford the power bills then you're doing something terribly wrong with the game. Power bills should be the least of your worries and -easily- affordable at all times in PCBS, even if you leave everything on all the time. And there actually is something that happens. After a certain amount of time you have to pay your bill in-game, I forget where it is though.

I decided to to see if forgeting to pay utility bills would have any negative effect so far nothing, there is no annoying email from the utility company saying feed me feed me feed me. The lights don't go off. It ma get added to your rent later on. Once I check Utility Bill, I will check the rent, there might be a negative on rent.

Also that shop is so unrealstic give us some freaken windows so it is not always so dark. Natural light is the best light to work with computers some lights can create more static electricity.

I'd only warn that if they ever patch a consequence in, you might lose whatever progress you've made if you can't access the office (evicted) or your computer (electricity off).

You should be re-starting career mode with every major patch during early access to prevent bugs anyway.

I think if you don't pay your power bills you can't turn on lights or computers. Also if you don't pay your rent the botton to enter the office is greyed out which you must pay a late payment fee to get into the office.

I actually did try this once. I don't remember what version it was, but it will eventually game over you for not paying the bills.
