What about the game version?
Recently I have started to notice that the game is updated. I thought this new update came out, but it was not written in the news and when you enter the game, shows version 0.9.3 when the latest version 0.9.1 is in the news. I do not know why, but nothing is written about the updates and the game has not changed (Nothing new or changed)

Probably just another hotfix to correct some of the bugs that have been breaking save games.

The strange thing is that the versions are updated without writing about it in the news

Welcome to game development and early access games! You must be new around here. You see during the Early Access period, many frequent patches are issued and they aren't all documented. This is standard practice with all games during early access. If you don't like updates without knowing what's changed then perhaps Early Access isn't for you. I might suggest waiting for the game to enter Final Release before buying next time.

There are some early access games which do give changelogs for every update, even if it's just to say something like "hotfix" or "bugfixes". A comprehensive changelog for every little patch is a bit much to ask for, but it would be nice if they would at least make some kind of note when they do updates saying "bugfixes" or somesuch. It's weird getting updates without the developer mentioning their existence at all.

Some devs give change logs for every update but a lot of them don't. Sometimes the changes are under the hood and wouldn't make sense to the end user anyway without explanation so you don't include them in the public change log. Sometimes you want unbiased feedback so you make changes but don't say anything to see if people notice or care. Sometimes it's just not worth the time and effort to publish the change log. It's really not unusual though even in non EA games to get undocumented patches.

Yep it would be nice if they would but these developers of this game, don't give us updates on every patch, just when they decide they want to post news updates. We get a lot of little "Stealth patches" with PCBS that no one has any remote clue what changed and we'll never know. We just have to deal with it and move on. It's part of EA. Not everyone describes every update.

There's a difference between not describing an update and not acknowledging an update. The former requires a lot of work. The latter requires almost none.

What would be the point of simply saying "we did an update" with no other information? Unless you're concerned someone went rogue and is sending you illegitimate updates. They tell us when they've added content. If there's no announcement then it's safe to assume it's bug fixes and or tweaks to the game.

I'm not talking about making a big announcement, I'm talking about having a running changelog posted, and for small updates simply add something like
0.9.2
- bug fixes
or whatever to the end of it. Lots of devs do this.

I understand that and I don't disagree that would be nice, but we already know that's what the minor update was for so it's redundant unless they expound on which bugs were fixed, which would be nice to know in my opinion.

They don't care to document every little patch. It's just how they work. It's how they run their Early Access on steam. They only tell us about the patches they care to tell us about, it's just how it is. Just deal with it if you want to play PCBS during early access.

I never said this isn't how it is. I never demanded that it be changed. All I said was that it's a bit weird from an end user standpoint, and that a better system could be enacted with almost zero effort.

I've got 75 hours logged in this game so clearly I'm dealing with it just fine.
